Meet Pauline

Pauline is a mixed media artist whose inspiration is drawn from the local landscape of the N.Wales/Cheshire borderlands. She likes to work in a free and lively way. 

Pauline is very much influenced by the colours in nature, the lightness and expanse of the sky, and the texture and depth of landscape. Vibrant colour and texture is vital to create exciting lively paintings.

She works from her home studio on the North Wales border and runs workshops and demonstrations both in the UK and abroad. She tends to work plein air and from photographs taken on location. She amalgamates various aspects as a starting point before developing the work to capture the atmosphere of the chosen location.
